Earning points as normal when you stay at a Hilton – or not earning points at all? You're doing it wrong. Hilton almost always has an ongoing promotion to earn double (or more) points on hotel stays. And its upcoming rendition is an easy one to earn bonus points on Hilton stays later this spring and through the summer.
Hilton Honors just unveiled its new Points Unlimited Promo which is good for all Hilton hotel stays from May 1 through Sept. 5. You can register now, then earn at least 2,000 bonus points for every stay this spring and summer … or 4,000 bonus points for stays at Hilton resorts!
You'll earn these extra points on top of whatever you'd normally earn for spending at Hilton. Even award stays booked with Hilton Honors points will earn this bonus. Just keep in mind that you'll get 2,000 to 4,000 additional points for the entire stay – not each night.

These promos can massively accelerate how many Hilton Honors points you earn on hotel stays. That helps offset Hilton's fairly lackluster points program, as Hilton's unpredictable and often sky-high award rates mean cashing in your Hilton Honors points won't get you as far as other hotel programs.
While you'll only earn the biggest, 4,000-point bonus for stays at Hilton resorts, that's a bit of a misnomer. More than 270 properties worldwide make the list, regardless of whether they've got “resort” in their name.
You can register now for this upcoming promo – and you should. Whether you've already got a Hilton stay on the books from May through early September or not, it's a no-brainer to register since you won't earn these bonus points if you don't sign up for the promo beforehand. Hilton stays you've already booked will still earn this bonus so long as you register before your trip.

Let's put this Hilton Honors promo in action with a handful of examples to show you just how much this promo can help you pile up extra Hilton Honors points.
Let's say you're just an everyday Hilton Honors member with a two-night stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort in Honolulu, paying about $325 a night for a visit in June. If you don't register for this promo, you'd earn 6,500 Hilton Honors points.

But the best is reserved for top-tier Hilton members who pay with a Hilton co-branded credit card, as that gets triple points through this promo. So booking that exact same Honolulu resort using a Hilton Honors Aspire Card – which unlocks instant Hilton Diamond Status – you would earn:
- Base points: 10 points per dollar X $325 X 2 nights = 6,500 Hilton Honors Points
