American Express has added a great new offer for upcoming stays at select Hyatt properties across the globe that could save you up to 25% off this summer or early fall.

If you spend $400 or more at any Hyatt Independent Collection hotel stay, you’ll get $100 back. Hyatt's Independent Collection includes the Unbound Collection, Destination by Hyatt resorts, and Joie de Vivre properties. There are hundreds of properties at home, in Hawaii, over in Europe, and scattered throughout Asia that make the cut.

This Amex Offer is valid for stays through Sept. 30, which gives you the rest of the summer and early fall to put this money-saving offer to use. Just keep in mind you'll need to actually complete and pay for your stay by that deadline – not just book beforehand.

If you haven't used Amex Offers before, think of them as digital coupons exclusively for Amex cardholders for purchases like airfare or hotels as well as dining, entertainment, or everyday shopping. Add one of these to your Amex card, use that card to book an eligible Hilton stay, and Amex will give you money right back for the discount within a few days as a statement credit on your account.

Like all Amex Offers, this is targeted – it may not be available to all cardholders. That said, this offer seems to be pretty widely available whether you've got The Platinum Card® from American Express, the American Express® Gold Card, and even co-branded Amex cards like Delta SkyMiles credit cards.

Just log in to your American Express Account and see if you can add it to your American Express card. If it's there, simply add it then use that Amex card to book a Hyatt Independent Collection stay through Sept. 30.

There are plenty of properties at home and abroad that will qualify for this offer. Hotel Kabuki in San Francisco is an excellent Joie de Vivre property, as is the Tommie Austin. If you fancy a trip to Hawaii, there are plenty of Destination by Hyatt resorts on the islands. And Europe is full of Unbound Collection and Joie de Vivre properties.

Where to Find Amex Offers

If you haven’t used Amex Offers before, simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called Amex Offers & Benefits. It's available through the Amex mobile app as well.

If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card. You should receive a statement credit for the offer within a few days of making a purchase.

Bottom Line

This is one of the best Amex offers we’ve seen for Hyatt properties in a while, helping you easily save $100 on a stay at select Hyatt hotels and resorts this summer or early fall.

While it's only eligible for Unbound Collection, Joie de Vivre, and Destination by Hyatt resorts, that covers a lot of ground throughout the Americas, Europe, and even Asia. Be sure to add it to your Amex card now and to put it to use before it expires Sept. 30, 2023.
